Existing customers

If you already have a UiPath license, contact UiPath to request a new license code with the same quantities for use in Automation Suite.

  1. Log in to the host portal as a system administrator.
  2. Make sure that Host is selected in the pane on the left and then click Licenses.
If you are still on the old admin experience, select Licenses from the options on the left instead.
  3. Click Activate License and select Online Activation.
The Activate License Online panel opens from the right of the window.
The Account ID field is automatically populated with the unique identifier of your Automation Suite instance.
  4. In the License Code field, enter the license key you received from UiPath.
  5. Click Activate.

Updating your license online

Whenever your license changes - for example when new licenses are added, or when you renew your license - you must perform a license update from Automation Suite.

  1. Log in to the host portal as a system administrator.
  2. Make sure that Host is selected in the pane on the left and then click Licenses.
If you are still on the old admin experience, select Licenses from the options on the left instead.
  3. Click Update License in the top right and select Online Activation.
The Update License Online panel opens from the right of the window and the Account ID and License Code fields are already filled in with your information.
  4. Click Update.

Automation Suite automatically checks your license status and synchronizes any changes. When finished, a success message appears in a tooltip at the top right of the page and the Licenses page refreshes to display the updated information.

Deactivating your license online

  1. Log in to the host portal as a system administrator.
  2. Make sure that Host is selected in the pane on the left and then click Licenses.
If you are still on the old admin experience, select Licenses from the options on the left instead.
  3. In the top right, click Deactivate License and select Online Deactivation.
  4. In the confirmation dialog, click Deactivate to confirm the action.

A tooltip appears in the top right of the screen, confirming that the license has been deactivated.
On the Licenses page, the state changes to Unlicensed.
