uip codedapp delete

Syntax and options for `uip codedapp delete`, which removes a deployed coded app from an Orchestrator folder.

uip codedapp delete removes a deployed coded app from a folder. It finds the app by the display name shown on the folder's Apps tab in Orchestrator. The published package and deployments of the same app in other folders are not affected.

The operation cannot be undone, so the command requires --yes and never prompts. Without --yes, it fails with Confirmation required and makes no change.

Synopsis

uip codedapp delete --display-name <name> --yes [options]
uip codedapp delete --display-name <name> --yes [options]

Options

--display-name <name>Required. Deploy-time display name of the app, as shown on the folder's Apps tab. Case-sensitive; matches the --display-name passed to uip codedapp deploy.
--folder-key <key>Key of the folder that holds the deployed app. Falls back to UIPATH_FOLDER_KEY.
-y, --yesConfirm the irreversible operation. Required.
--base-url <url>UiPath base URL (auth override).
--org-id <id>Organization ID (auth override).
--org-name <name>Organization name (auth override).
--tenant-id <id>Tenant ID (auth override).
--access-token <token>Access token (auth override).

Example

uip codedapp delete --display-name "My App" \
    --folder-key f0f0f0f0-0000-0000-0000-000000000001 --yes
uip codedapp delete --display-name "My App" \
    --folder-key f0f0f0f0-0000-0000-0000-000000000001 --yes

Data shape (--output json)

{
  "Code": "DeployedAppDeleted",
  "Data": {
    "DeletedAppId": "6f1c2b4a-0000-0000-0000-000000000001",
    "DisplayName": "My App",
    "SystemName": "my-app_abc123"
  }
}
{

    "DisplayName": "My App",
    "SystemName": "my-app_abc123"
  }
}

After the app is removed, the app URL can still resolve for a short time. When the CLI cannot confirm that the routing cache was cleared, it prints a warning on stderr.

Failure modes

ErrorCodeCause
not_foundNo deployed app in the folder has that exact display name. Copy the display name from the folder's Apps tab (case matters), or pass a different --folder-key.
permission_deniedThe account lacks Apps.Write on the folder. Grant it, or pass a --folder-key for a folder the account can manage.
authentication_requiredThe session is invalid or expired. Run uip login.

Missing connection settings fail before any request is sent. Run uip login, or pass --base-url, --org-id, --tenant-id, --folder-key, and --access-token.
