uip rpa get-library-object-repository

Syntax and options for `uip rpa get-library-object-repository`, which reads the Object Repository out of one or more library .nupkg files.

uip rpa get-library-object-repository reads the Object Repository — applications, screens, and elements — out of one or more library .nupkg files, and returns the entries grouped by library. Packages that don't carry an Object Repository are omitted from the result. Use uip rpa get-object-repository to read the current project's own Object Repository instead.

Even though the .nupkg paths are self-contained, the verb still requires an open project: the Object Repository reader runs inside a hosted project context on both backends (Studio's project process and Helm's project assembly load context).

Synopsis

uip rpa get-library-object-repository [--library-paths <path>]
uip rpa get-library-object-repository [--library-paths <path>]

Options

FlagDescription
--library-paths <path>Absolute path to a library .nupkg file to read. Repeatable — pass the flag multiple times for multiple libraries, or a single comma-separated value (e.g. --library-paths "C:\libs\Acme.UiLib.1.2.0.nupkg,C:\libs\Acme.Other.1.0.0.nupkg"). At least one path is required; the command fails with success: false if none is provided.

uip rpa get-library-object-repository --help

Examples

# Read one library's Object Repository
uip rpa get-library-object-repository --library-paths "C:\libs\Acme.UiLib.1.2.0.nupkg"

# Read multiple libraries in one call — repeated flag
uip rpa get-library-object-repository --library-paths "C:\libs\Acme.UiLib.1.2.0.nupkg" --library-paths "C:\libs\Acme.Other.1.0.0.nupkg"

# Read multiple libraries — comma-separated in one occurrence
uip rpa get-library-object-repository --library-paths "C:\libs\Acme.UiLib.1.2.0.nupkg,C:\libs\Acme.Other.1.0.0.nupkg"
# Read one library's Object Repository
uip rpa get-library-object-repository --library-paths "C:\libs\Acme.UiLib.1.2.0.nupkg"

# Read multiple libraries in one call — repeated flag
uip rpa get-library-object-repository --library-paths "C:\libs\Acme.UiLib.1.2.0.nupkg" --library-paths "C:\libs\Acme.Other.1.0.0.nupkg"

# Read multiple libraries — comma-separated in one occurrence
uip rpa get-library-object-repository --library-paths "C:\libs\Acme.UiLib.1.2.0.nupkg,C:\libs\Acme.Other.1.0.0.nupkg"

Data shape (--output json)

The command returns the Object Repository entries grouped by library, exactly as objectRepository.getLibraryObjects() produces them. Shape is otherwise unspecified and may evolve with the Object Repository feature itself; inspect real output rather than relying on a fixed schema.

On failure — no --library-paths provided, or an unreadable package — the command reports:

{
  "success": false,
  "errorMessage": "<reason>"
}
{
  "success": false,
  "errorMessage": "<reason>"
}

"At least one library .nupkg path must be provided in 'libraryPaths'." is the exact message when the flag is omitted entirely.
