2.2510.4-patch1 release notes for Apps in Automation Suite.
Release date: October 7, 2026
Résolution de bogues
We fixed an issue where querying large data sets from the Apps database intermittently failed with an exception. The problem was most visible when a Maestro process ran an app with a large action schema, as the schema query returned an error instead of a result.
The Microsoft SQL Server package that Apps uses to connect to the database had been upgraded as part of a security fix, and the new version was incompatible with the ODBC Driver 17 used by the Apps server. The Apps server image now uses ODBC Driver 18, which resolves the failures.
Change in connection string
Because Apps now uses ODBC Driver 18, the Apps connection string must reference ODBC Driver 18 instead of ODBC Driver 17. The shared ODBC connection string template is not updated by this patch, so Apps requires its own product-specific connection string.
Earlier sample connection strings for Apps included the MultipleActiveResultSets=False option. This option is not supported by the ODBC driver and must not be used in the Apps connection string.
For the steps, refer to the connection string update page for your deployment:
- Updating the SQL connection strings for Automation Suite on Linux
- Updating credentials for Automation Suite on EKS/AKS
- Updating credentials for Automation Suite on OpenShift
This fix is included in all future releases starting with Automation Suite 2.2510.5.
