Acerca de UiPath Assistant

UiPath Assistant es una herramienta creada específicamente para convertir la interacción del usuario con nuestros robots en una experiencia agradable y satisfactoria desde la comodidad de su escritorio. Es el lugar donde las personas pueden acceder, gestionar y ejecutar con facilidad automatizaciones en solo un par de clics. La interfaz puede personalizarse para que se adapte a cada persona, eligiendo un avatar y un nombre para el UiPath Robot, organizando procesos en carpetas personalizadas en la plataforma de lanzamiento o tal vez eligiendo otro tema. Todo ello hace de UiPath Assistant nuestro puente entre humanos y UiPath Robots.

La primera vez que inicies UiPath Assistant, verás un tour interactivo que te llevará a través de sus características principales. Siempre puedes reiniciarlo desde la sección Ayuda en el menú Preferencias.

As a client of the Robot, it can send commands to start or stop jobs and change settings, based on user input.

Aunque está especialmente diseñado para uso atendido, UiPath Assistant no pone límite alguno a los procesos que puedes iniciar. Esto significa que podrás conectarte fácilmente a Orchestrator e iniciar trabajos desde allí.

During installation, you are able to choose to deploy the Robot in User Mode or Service Mode to better suit your environment. For more details, see the According to Deployment document.

After you install and run the UiPath Assistant, an icon is displayed in the system tray. Clicking this icon brings UiPath Assistant into focus, while right-clicking it brings up a menu from which you can access the Preferences, Orchestrator Settings, bring it to focus or Quit.

Iconos de ejecución de procesos y UiPath Assistant:

Interfaz

La interfaz de UiPath Assistant se compone de un diseño en dos columnas:

La parte izquierda contiene las pestañas (Inicio, Recordatorios y Mercado de UiPath), mientras que la derecha, también llamada "Plataforma de lanzamiento", tiene tus procesos favoritos para que puedas acceder a ellos con más facilidad. Puedes arrastrarlos y soltarlos para organizarlos y crear secciones como se muestra a continuación. El lado derecho también muestra los Detalles de automatización cuando se utilizan.

En la parte inferior de UiPath Assistant puedes encontrar la identidad del robot y la barra de búsqueda que se usa para encontrar los procesos disponibles. En función de las políticas de gobernanza aplicadas, la función de búsqueda también puede devolver resultados de Automation Store, Marketplace o plantillas disponibles en Studio Web.

La pestaña Página de inicio

La pestaña Página de inicio te permite:

• Ver todas las automatizaciones disponibles:
  • If UiPath Assistant is connected to Orchestrator, automations from the environments and folders the Robot is a part of are displayed. Hovering over an automation displays its name, version and folder.
  • If UiPath Assistant is set to offline mode, automations in the %ProgramData%\UiPath\Packages folder are displayed.
• Descargar las automatizaciones que tengan una versión más rediente disponible o que tengan que descargarse y descomprimirse localmente, y observar el estado de la instalación.
• Add or remove an automation from the Launchpad, click the contextual menu and then select Pin to Launchpad or simply drag and drop the process from the left panel to the Launchpad.
• View all currently running foreground and background processes.
• Pause, resume, or stop a process. The Pause button can be disabled for a process from the Studio Process Settings window. Once a process is started, the execution status is displayed. You can use the Report Status activity to have custom status messages displayed during execution.
• Haz clic en el nombre del tenant junto al estado de la conexión para cambiar entre tenants accesibles dentro del Orchestrator al que estás conectado.

La pestaña Recordatorios

The Reminders tab enables you to specify a time or period for you to receive a notification for starting a process. For any process available in the Process List section, a reminder can be set.

Processes for which reminders are set, appear on the Reminders tab and a notification is displayed once a process is about to start. Please note that a process does not start without your consent. You can snooze the reminder for 10 minutes, dismiss it, or start the process.

Detalles de la automatización

El submenú Detalles de automatización ofrece lo siguiente:

• Nombre y descripción de la automatización: se basan en los detalles proporcionados en Studio al crear el proceso. Si una automatización está vinculada a una idea, la URL de Automation Hub estará disponible en la descripción. La URL de Automation Hub se puede completar en Studio, en Configuración del proyecto.
• Input Arguments used to configure processes that make use of input arguments. If an Input Argument is mandatory, it is marked by an asterisk * next to its name.
• The Start in PiP toggle is inherited from the project settings in Studio. If a process is set to Start in PiP in Studio, the toggle is enabled. Changing it from the UiPath Assistant overwrites the setting from Studio.
• Método abreviado de teclado: te da la opción de establecer un método abreviado de teclado que inicie el proceso.

El menú contextual

The contextual menu allows you to manage an automation.

• Click on Delete personal automation to remove the automation from both UiPath Assistant and Orchestrator's personal workspace feed.
  Nota:

  Al eliminar un proceso de tu carpeta personal, se elimina el proceso de Orchestrator y deja el paquete en su lugar.

• Click Create desktop shortcut to start automations directly from your desktop.
• Click Add to favorites to add the automations to the Favorites section of the Launchpad.
• Click Copy link to automation to create a link that, when accessed, opens Assistant to that automation. You can also do this by clicking the Copy button next to each automations name. This button is only visible for automations installed in shared folders. You can control this feature from the Automation Ops policy. Make sure you choose the 23.4.0 policy template.

El grupo de productos UiPath

In the launchpad, you can find the UiPath Products, which based on the governance policies applied can contain the Task Capture Launcher, the option to submit an idea to Automation Hub, and a shortcut to open Studio Web.

La pestaña En ejecución

When an automation is running, you can see the steps it goes through in real time, by checking the Running Tab in the Automation Details section.

The automation steps presented in the Assistant window are configured using the Report Status activity in the workflow. This allows you to have a better view on how the automation runs and how long it takes for each step to complete.

Nota:

Puedes dividir un mensaje de estado en varias líneas al configurar el mensaje en Studio. Para ello, utiliza Environment.NewLine o vbNewLine como separador de línea para el texto del mensaje de estado.

Once an automation ends, the run history details are kept until you click on Dismiss, start the process again, or quit and restart the UiPath Assistant. After the automation is complete, the Running Tab is renamed to Recent run.

Tu robot

Para hacer que el robot sea más humano, puedes darle una identidad eligiendo una fotografía y un nombre. Simplemente, haz clic en el UiPath Robot junto a la barra de búsqueda para cambiar el aspecto y el nombre del robot.

Conexiones en UiPath Assistant

Connections can be used directly from the UiPath Assistant by accessing the Process Details menu.

Si un proceso ya tiene conexiones establecidas, el usuario puede seleccionarlo de la lista. Si no, puede crear uno nuevo desde el mismo menú.

Si una conexión tiene varias cuentas vinculadas a ella, puedes seleccionar una concreta desde el menú desplegable.
