Settings

This page provides an overview of all Clipboard AI options and customizable preferences. It also displays the installed version. Remember to always select Save to apply the new options.

Profile

  • User - information about the user that is logged in Assistant.

  • License - the current plan and usage quota (the number of remaining copy-paste actions). You can perform 100 copy-paste actions immediately after installing Clipboard AI.

    Note:

    For unlimited free copy-paste actions, sign in with your UiPath Automation Cloud account, Google account, or Microsoft account.

General

Allows you to select one of the following preferences:

  • Launch on Windows start - select this option to allow Clipboard AI to launch at Windows startup. Disabled by default.

  • Always show Data mapper - select this option to always display the data mapper before a paste operation. Disabled by default.

  • Autohide after Paste - select this option to hide the toolbar when a paste operation completes. Enabled by default.

Shortcuts

You can create custom shortcuts to interact faster with Clipboard AI actions.

Use CTRL, ALT, or SHIFT and at least one other key to create a keyboard shortcut for the following functionalities:
  • Copy - the default keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+Alt+C.
  • Paste - the default keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+Alt+V.
  • Region selection - the custom keyboard shortcut to initiate a region selection operation. Then you can proceed by indicating a rectangle region on your screen. No default value.
  • Fix in mapper - the custom keyboard shortcut to open the data mapper after a paste operation is completed. This allows for further editing possible inconsistencies.

To reset all the keyboard shortcuts to their default values, select the Reset defaults button.

Extraction models

This section allows you to add a custom Document Understanding extraction model.

To add a new extraction model:

  1. Select the Add another model button.
  2. Enter the URL* for the custom model.

    To obtain the URL:

    1. Go to Automation Cloud.
    2. Select the AI Center service from the left navigation bar.
    3. Create a new project or access an existing one.
    4. Go to ML Packages > Out of the box Packages > UiPath Document Understanding > select the package you want to use.
    5. Create the package.
    6. Go to ML Skills and select Create new.
    7. Under Choose Package, select the ML package you just created.
    8. Make sure to enable the Make ML Skill Public toggle button and create the ML skill.
    9. After the ML skill is available, access it and copy the Url field.
  3. Enter the API Key* for the custom model.
    Note: If you are logged in to Clipboard AI from Assistant, then the API key is no longer required.

    To obtain the API key:

    1. Go to Automation Cloud.
    2. Select user profile > Preferences > Personal Access Token > Generate new token.
    3. Under Resources, select Document Understanding and define the scope of the token.
    4. Select Save and copy the personal access token.
  4. For OCR Url, enter the endpoint for the OCR engine you want to use. This field is needed if you want the extraction model to work properly.
  5. (Optional) For OCR Api Key, enter the API key for the desired OCR engine.
  6. For Type*, choose an extractor type from the dropdown list.
    Note: For the Other extractor type, provide a unique name for the custom model. For all other extractor types, the name corresponds to the selected extractor type and the Name field is no longer displayed.
  7. Select the Add another model button to configure an additional data extractor, or select Save to apply the changes.

To delete a data extractor, select the trash bin icon at the upper-right corner of the box containing the required fields.
