Using External Reporting Tools

The following table lists the views which are available for reporting purposes. Your system administrator can help you to connect your reporting solution to those views. You can either use native SQL connections or, if your reporting tools do not support this, you can use an ODBC connection. For more information, see ODBC Data Source Administrator Help - Windows Data Access Components.

The following read-only views are accessible through a special user role via ODBC.

Projects

Column NameData TypeDescription
IDGUIDAutomatically generated ID for the project.
PrefixstringThe prefix of the project, as added when it was first created.
Project NamestringThe name of the project, as added when it was first created.

Test Executions

Column NameData TypeDescription
NamestringThe name of the test execution.
Project IDGUIDThe ID of the project this Test Execution was assigned to.
Execution Startdate/timeThe start of the execution. Please note that pending Test Executions have a NULL value.
Execution Finisheddate/timeThe time when the execution finished. Please note that pending Test Executions have a NULL value.

Test Cases

Column NameData TypeDescription
IDGUIDAutomatically generated ID for the test case.
NamestringThe name of the test case as added when it was created.
TypesetCan have one of the following values:
automated - indicates an automated test case.
manual - indicates a manual test case.

Test Case Logs

Column NameData TypeDescription
Test Case IDGUIDAutomatically generated ID.
Test Execution IDGUIDAutomatically generated ID for the test execution.
Test Case VersionstringThe version added when a test case is created, if added.
ResultENUMCan have one of the following values:
passed
failed
noresult
Execution Startdate/timeThe start time of the test case execution.
Execution Enddate/timeThe end time of the test case execution.
Executed BystringThere are two possible values:
user - tests that were manually executed.
robot - tests that were automatically executed.

Requirements

Column NameData TypeDescription
IDGUIDAutomatically generated identifier.
Object KeystringAutomatically generated identifier which contains the project key and an automatically incremented number.
NamestringThe name of the requirement as added when it was created.
DescriptionstringThe description of the requirement as added when it was created. Accepts markdown.
Project IDGUIDAutomatically generated ID for the project.
