What's new

The Test Manager encryption per service specifications for Customer-managed keys (CMK) were updated. Visit Automation Cloud Encryption to check the new encryption specifications for Test Manager,

Improvements

  • Error messages related to your SAP system connection now show more details, to ease your debugging process.
  • (Preview) You can now generate the AI-powered insights report directly from the Test Case view within your Test Results.
  • (Preview) During the Provide supporting documents step of the AI-powered generation and evaluation processes, you can now select the documents that you uploaded in the Attachments section of your project. These documents have a P icon icon as an identifier. This update aims to decrease repetitive document uploads.

What's new

Label custom field definitions

You can now use labels as a data type on custom fields. This feature allows you to select from a pre-defined list of values, enhancing the structure of data in your repository.

Custom fields now include a Data type attribute. The attribute is Text by default, but you can change it to Label. Additionally, you can assign a custom field definition to varius obhect types such as: Requirement, Test Case, and Test Set.

With this update, the CSV file that you can export for your requirements and test cases, have new columns for custom labels.

Enhanced filtering and customizable views

Filters

You can now apply filters when you view test objects within your project, using the Filters type. The Filters type offers you predefined filters (which correspond to information columns in a test object view, such as Name, Description, or Last Modified), and custom filters. Custom filters represent the custom labels that you define in the Custom field definitions section of your project.

Views

You can also save these custom and predefined filters that you apply, as views. Views can either be personal or be available to all other project users.

The filters, and the view to which you save them, are persistent within the project, either personal, or public to all project users.

Configuring display of test objects with columns

Every project section that shows objects, including Requirements, Test Cases, and Test Sets, now has a Columns type. The Columns type contains properties native to a test object (such as Name, Description, and other), as well as custom field definitions and custom labels. You can use this type to customize the display of your test objects.

What's new

Prompt library for AI-powered capabilities - Preview

You can now use pre-defined prompts for using any AI-powered feature that works based on instructions to ease your process of evaluating the quality of your requirements, or generating test cases. You can edit the predefined prompts, according to your needs.

Moreover, you can include your project's prompt library in the export TMH file.

You can find the Prompt library of a project in the Project Settings.

Visit Prompt library to check the available predefined prompts that you can use for your AI-powered testing processes.

AI-powered test case generation for SAP transactions - Preview

Facilitate your SAP testing efforts, and generate test cases for your SAP transactions from the following:
  • Heatmap: generate test cases for any transaction.
  • Change impact analysis: Whenever you identify a gap in the Change impact analysis you can create an AI-generated test case to address it.

AI-powered test insights enhancements - Preview

To improve the user experience and clarity of the test insights report, we have made the following enhancements:

  • Renamed the insights report to 30-Day Regression Test Analysis
  • Added number of the impacted test case, which you can select to easily view the test case logs impacted by a specific issue or recommendation.
