PII in-flight masking in the AI Trust Layer

You can now mask personally identifiable information (PII) in prompts before they reach large language models (LLMs), using PII in-flight masking in the AI Trust Layer. Detected entities, such as names, phone numbers, or email addresses, are replaced with contextual placeholders, and the original values are restored in the LLM response. Sensitive data stays protected without disrupting generative AI output or downstream processes.

You enable masking per product from the AI Trust Layer policy in Automation Ops, then choose which PII entity types to mask and set a confidence threshold for each.
