Adding human-in-the-loop tasks with a coding agent is now generally available

Adding human-in-the-loop (HITL) tasks to an automation with a coding agent is now generally available. Describe the approval, escalation, or review you need and the agent designs the task schema — input, output, and outcomes — and wires the HITL node into your process across Maestro BPMN, Case Management, Flow, and Agents.

The uipath-human-in-the-loop skill recognizes approval patterns from your description, proposes a schema, and configures the node's outcome routing. The skill is available to install via uip skills install.

For details, refer to Human-in-the-loop tasks.

Expanding and collapsing field groups in the Validation Station

Field groups in the compact view of the Validation Station can now be collapsed. A chevron on the field group header closes the whole group, and a chevron on each instance closes that one instance, leaving a summary line that lists the first values inside it. Nested field groups carry the same two controls.

A closed group or instance still reports what is behind it. The field group header keeps its instance count, and a colored dot appears whenever the closed group or instance hides a broken business rule, a failed validation, or a value that is neither confirmed nor confident.

Collapsing only changes which values the field list displays. It does not change the action, the document, or the extraction result, and confirming all values still covers the fields inside closed groups. For the two levels of collapse, what the dot reports, and where the collapse state is kept, see Expanding and collapsing field groups in the Validation Station.
