July 2026 release notes for UiPath CLI.

UiPath CLI is now generally available at version 1.197.0, ending the public preview that began in May 2026. This release is the point where the command surface, output envelope, and exit-code behavior become a contract you can build automation and CI pipelines against.

What General Availability means

• Semantic versioning is now enforced. Breaking changes to command names, flag semantics, or the JSON envelope only happen at a MAJOR bump, preceded by a full deprecation cycle. See Versioning and stability.
• Per-command stability labels apply. Commands are GA by default; Preview commands can still change without a MAJOR bump; Deprecated commands get at least one full MAJOR cycle before removal.
• The output envelope and exit-code contract are stable. Result, Code, Data, Message, Instructions, and the five-tier exit-code contract (0 / 1 / 2 / 3 / 4, plus 130 for user cancellation) hold across MINOR and PATCH releases.
