Deployments sidebar for solution deployments
We introduced a new Deployments sidebar in the Solutions experience to make it easier to review details of your ongoing deployments, as well as manage them.
On the Deployments tab, when you select a deployment, a contextual sidebar displays the details such as name, version, status, folder location, and the last associated operation. Similar to the Package sidebar, this new contextual view consolidates previously standalone pages into a single, dynamic view and allows you to do the following:
- Uninstall, edit, or activate a deployment.
- Quickly inspect a deployment's resources and history.
- If a deployment is already installed and activated, you can navigate to the selected deployment.
The new Deployments sidebar centralizes deployment details and actions in a single contextual view, enabling faster review, streamlined management, and reduced navigation between pages when working with solution deployments.
Improved visibility into deployment operations
On the Deployments tab, the Last Operation column displays more helpful information for your solution deployments. These details include:
- An enhanced deployment status that includes the type of operation, as well as its status. For example, Install - Draft, Upgrade/ Downgrade - Successful, or Activation setup - Failed
- The date when the operation was performed.
- If the operation is in progress, only the start time of the operation is displayed. If the operation is finalized (whether it succeeded or failed), the end time of the operation is displayed.
- All operations display how much time has passed since they started. For example, you may see a status of "Install - Draft" and a label of "59 minutes ago" next to it.
