Creating an Entity

All objects created in Data Service are referred to as Entities.

1. Navigate to Data Service from the left-side navigation bar. The Entities page opens.

2. Click Create New Entity. The Create Entity panel opens.

3. Enter a Display Name for the entity and, optionally, a Description.

   Note:

   • The Name can be alpha-numeric, but it must start with a letter. It must have between 3 and 30 characters. Once the entity is created, the name cannot be edited.
   • The Display Name field can be modified. This is the name displayed when you import the entity in Studio.

4. Click Save.

The new entity is displayed in your Entities list.
