Tenant level settings

Tenant-level settings in Test Manager that apply across all projects within a tenant, accessible from the Settings header in Automation Suite.

Tenant level settings in Test Manager allow you to apply various settings across all projects within a given tenant. To access Tenant level settings, go to Test Manager, select Settings in the header, and access the General tab.

Check the following settings you can apply for all projects inside a tenant:

Allow legacy execution context

The Allow legacy execution context setting allows you to enable the execution of test sets, which have no Orchestrator folder context assigned. This was the default behavior before this setting became available. Test sets without folder context are executed in a random folder on Orchestrator.

Turn off this setting to enforce a folder selection for each automated execution of test sets. This setting ensures backward compatibility for test sets created before this setting became available. We recommend to have this setting disabled for future test execution.

Enable reporting with Insights

The Enable reporting with Insights setting allows you to activate Insights to retrieve data, facilitating the creation of Test Manager dashboards. Once you enable this setting, two predefined dashboards become available under the UiPath Templates section in Insights, for Test Manager:

• Test Manager Execution Report – This dashboard provides an overview of all your test executions within the same tenant.
• Test Manager Additional Examples – This dashboard provides an overview of all your testing projects within the same tenant.

Select Insights if you want to navigate directly to the UiPath Templates section.
