This page provides an introduction to Test Cloud Dedicated, and guides you in managing your application testing organization. The page shows information about the platform hierarchy, the specific application testing personas, and common user journeys.

階層と継承

Test Cloud operates on the same platform capabilities as Automation Cloud. To get started with how to navigate through Test Cloud Dedicated, you need to explore the hierarchy system based on which the platforms operate. The following table describes the platform layers:

ユーザーのペルソナ

The user personas that interact with Test Cloud Dedicated can be categorized as administrators and non-administrators. The primary distinction between these two user categories is that admin users are mapped based on their membership in the Administrators user group, while non-admin users are mapped based on their licenses. Both personas have distinct roles and responsibilities within the platform. The following table describes the Test Cloud Dedicated-specific personas, and what classifies them as a certain user persona:

This section describes the general user journey for the two user persona categories in Test Cloud Dedicated:

• 管理者: 組織のプラットフォームの設定と、設定の管理を担当します。設定の定義、テナントの作成、ライセンスの管理、およびアカウントとグループの設定を行う権限があります。初期設定時に管理者ユーザーが実行する一般的な手順は、以下のとおりです。
  1. 登録/サインイン: アカウントを作成し、組織を作成します。サインインして組織にアクセスします。

  7. アクセス制御: 効率的なコラボレーションとアクセス制御を実現できるよう、ユーザー アカウント、グループ、および権限を設定します。事前に定義されたグループとロールを使用して、アクセスと権限を管理できます。カスタムのグループやロールを作成することもできます。

  8. ライセンス: 組織全体、個々のテナント、およびユーザーのライセンスを管理します。

• Non-administrators: Non-admin users are focused on using the services surfaced in Test Cloud Dedicated to accomplish their application testing tasks. The following areas describe a common user journey for non-admin users:

Migrating to Test Cloud Dedicated

If you are considering migrating to Test Cloud Dedicated from other UiPath platforms such as Automation Cloud, Automation Suite, or Standalone products, contact your sales representative. They can provide guidance for the following migration scenarios:

• Application testing migration: Moving your application testing processes to Test Cloud Dedicated.
• Combined application testing and automation testing migration: Moving both application testing and automation testing processes to Test Cloud Dedicated.
• Partial application testing migration: Moving only your application testing process to Test Cloud Dedicated, while keeping automation testing on your current platform.
