Integration Service release notes
Pinecone connector supports the global control plane endpoint
The Pinecone connector has been updated to support the new Global Control Plane API introduced by Pinecone. The new API uses a global URL for control plane operations, replacing the deprecated version which required regional URLs.
Updates for Amazon Web Services
HTTP activity support
The connector now has HTTP activity support, and can be used with UiPath API workflows and Maestro. This update brings the following benefits:
- Support for custom AWS operations, ensuring access to AWS APIs not covered by predefined activities.
- Integration with newer AWS services before they're added as dedicated activities.
- Ability to build complex workflows with custom multi-step AWS operations.
- API testing, enabling you to test AWS endpoints and responses.
- Handling of specific AWS API parameters and response formats.
- Availability of custom EC2 operations.
Removal of IAM role authentication
To support API workflows and Maestro, which might not be deployed to AWS EC2 instances, the IAM role authentication type is no longer available for the Amazon Web Services connector. For more information about authentication options, see Amazon Web Services authentication.
