Roles Matrix

The roles are criterion applicable to automation profile level.
Based on the permission to edit/delete there can be 2 role types:

Permanent Roles

Roles that are permanent and cannot be deleted or enabled

Process Owner
Project Manager

• Submits automation ideas;
• Upvote ideas;
• Supports the Process Owner;
• Provides input and output files examples;
• Participates in UAT.

• Owns the submission of the high-level assessment;
• Owns the Process Profile Page and changes in the About section;
• Provides complete and accurate documentation in relation to the process;
• Approves the Process Design Document for automation purposes;
• Participates in UAT.

• Allocates collaborators to the automation initiative;
• Manages the budget;
• Measures benefit realization;
• Identifies and manage risks and issues;
• Keeps stakeholders informed and manage their expectations.

Editable roles

Roles that are disposable and can be customized/enabled as per each tenant needs

Business Analyst
Solution Architect
RPA Developer

• Helps business users/process owners complete the process assessment;
• Performs in-depth analysis of the process once it is in implementation;
• Prepares and conducts tests for the developed solution.

• Responsible for the end to end performance of the solution for each automated process under your purview
• Design the technical architecture for the automation solution.
• Document it in the Solution Design Document.

• Documents the code in the Development Specifications Document;
• Runs peer code reviews;
• Fixes bugs and provide support during UAT and hypercare period; Creates the Move to Production checklist.

To assign one of the above roles to an Automation Profile collaborator, make sure that the user is included in the CoE Collaborators group.
To do this, access Admin Console - People page and check the Permission column.

Note: This rule does not apply to the Process Owners.
