Coded apps (Preview)

Coded apps give people an interface on top of UiPath — web and Action apps with forms, dashboards, and actions backed by your data and automations. With a coding agent, you describe the app you want and it scaffolds, wires up, and deploys it.

What you build

Coded apps suit interactive work: submitting and reviewing records, approving Action Center tasks, or giving a process a custom front end. The agent generates the app, connects it to Orchestrator, Data Fabric, and Action Center, and can package and deploy it for you.

The skill behind it

This work is powered by the uipath-coded-apps skill, which scaffolds and deploys web apps, analytics dashboard apps, and Action apps. You can see it in the Skills catalog.

A typical starting prompt

A first request might look like this:

"Build a coded web app for business users to review cases, with an inbox for browsing open cases, a detail view for case data, and approve and reject actions."

From there you refine the views, data sources, and actions in conversation with the agent.

More prompts to try

  • Build a coded app with a data table interface for Data Fabric entities, with search, browse, and CRUD capabilities.
  • Build an Action Center task inbox for filtering work, reviewing task details, and completing assigned actions.
  • Create a coded app for Document Understanding validation that pairs an action task list with a Validation Station for reviewing and validating documents.
  • Create a coded Action app for loan review with a form for applicant details and reviewer feedback, Approve and Reject buttons, and a document viewer that loads the application PDF from a storage bucket.
  • Create a coded app for an agent health dashboard with error rates and consumption trends across my tenant.
