When using the SAML integration, you can now define rules based on which users are automatically added to local groups in Automation Suite. With a local group that is adequately set up, you can auto-provisions users with the licenses, roles, and robot setup they need for their job.
We have optimized the overall time required to collect the RKE2 support bundle from the Automation Suite cluster.
- Previously, our scripts would only partially remove logs during cleanup operations, which could result in storage filling up. The problem no longer occurs. If you upgrade from a previous Automation Suite version, you might want to clean up your old logs using a dedicated script.
- The
LdapException*A local error occurrederror was logged in Identity Server when you tried to integrate Automation Suite with Active Directory. The issue was caused by the dependency on reverse DNS lookups in the Kerberos Authentication Service configuration (krb5.conffile).

Erratum - added October 11, 2024: In a proxy environment, if the proxy server uses the same port as the TCP port of any other service in the Istio service mesh, such as port 8080, pods cannot communicate with the FQDN. The issue causes the following error:
