# LLM model lifecycle

> Lifecycle stages for LLM models available on the UiPath platform through the AI Trust Layer, from initial availability to deprecation.

UiPath provides third-party large language models (LLMs) through the AI Trust Layer. Each model goes through a defined lifecycle on the UiPath platform, from initial availability to eventual deprecation.

This page lists the current lifecycle stage of every LLM model available on the UiPath platform, organized by vendor. Not every model is available in every product. To check the model available for every product, refer to [Automation Cloud - AI features and model routing](https://docs.uipath.com/automation-cloud/automation-cloud/latest/admin-guide/ai-features-and-model-routing).

UiPath's support timeline for a given model may differ from the vendor's own timeline. For the vendor's lifecycle details, refer to the vendor's documentation directly.

## Lifecycle stages

| Stage | Definition | Customer action |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Preview** | Available for evaluation. Limited region support. No service level agreement (SLA). When a model appears as Preview on UiPath, the vendor may have already declared it generally available — UiPath is still completing its own product-level validation and optimization for automation use cases. | Test only. Do not use in production. |
| **Generally Available (GA)** | Fully supported across applicable regions. Covered by UiPath SLA. Bring Your Own (BYO) configuration supported. UiPath promotes a model to GA only after validating it against automation scenarios — checking accuracy, reliability in multi-step workflows, and performance — with direct comparison against the current production model. | Production use. |
| **Deprecating** | Replacement identified and available. Migration window open. Current model still functional. | Test the replacement model. Update BYO configurations. |
| **Deprecated** | Not recommended for new use. The model may remain temporarily configurable or available during migration. | Migrate to a supported replacement and avoid new configurations. |
| **Removed** | No longer available on the UiPath platform. | Not available for use. |
