Test Manager distinguishes between two types of reporting. On the one hand, we have dashboards that provide a quick overview of your testing. It lets you understand progress, detect problems, and recognize overall quality indicators. Test Manager comes with 2 dashboards that provide core information about your Test Executions.
On the other hand, comprehensive reports which provide details by putting data points into relation to each other let you drill into your test results to understand particular aspects. This type of report is highly individual to particular projects and often needs a lot of customization in order to fit the
needs of a testing organization. Test Manager facilitates the access to all the data from your portfolio via ODBC or via a native SQL Server connection. This enables you to use the reporting tool of your choice to create reports and additional dashboards.
