# Linking test cases to requirements

> Assign a test case to one or more requirements to establish traceability.

To establish traceability between test cases and requirements, you can assign test cases to requirements in Test Manager.

## Steps

1. Open the desired test case.
2. Go to **Tasks**, and select **Assign to Requirement**.
3. Choose the requirements you want to link the test case to.
4. Select **Assign** to save the changes.

## Result

The test case is linked to the selected requirements.
