# Overriding the execution name format for a test set

> Override the project-level execution name format for a specific test set to customize how its test executions are named.

Set the execution name format for one test set. Leave the **Test execution name format** field empty to keep the project-level format.

## Steps

1. Open a test set and select **Configuration**.
2. In the **Test execution name format** field, enter the format for naming test executions. For the list of available variables and formatting examples, refer to [Execution](https://docs.uipath.com/test-manager/automation-cloud/latest/user-guide/general-project-settings#execution).

## Result

The test set uses the custom execution name format for subsequent test executions.

Users with the **Test Set - Edit** permission can edit the name manually. If a referenced custom field does not exist, the reference expression is displayed as-is in the execution name.
