# Enabling governance at test-case level

> After enabling governance at project level, you must enable governance at object level.

After enabling governance at project level, you must enable governance at object level.

To enable testing process governance, you must hold the **Test Manager Administrator** role, the **Test Governance Administrator** role, the **Project Owner** role or be assigned the **Test Process Governance** permission.

1. Go to **Test Cases**.
2. Open a test case.
3. In the upper, left-hand side corner of the object, toggle on the **Governed** option. The object state is marked as **In work**. The **Governance** tab is visible and enabled.
