# Disabling governance at project level

> When you disable governance at project level, all the governed objects are released, all existing signatures are voided, and all signatory records are removed from their assigned objects.

When you disable governance at project level, all the governed objects are released, all existing signatures are voided, and all signatory records are removed from their assigned objects.

To disable testing process governance, you must hold the **Test Manager Administrator** role, the **Test Governance Administrator** role, the **Project Owner** role or be assigned the **Test Process Governance** permission.

1. Go to **Settings**.
2. Select the **Governance** tab.
3. Toggle off **Enable Governance**.
