# Deleting prompts

> Delete prompts that you no longer need from the prompt library.

Permanently remove a prompt from the prompt library; it cannot be restored afterward.

## Prerequisites

* Your Test Manager role has the **Autopilot Prompt** permission set to **Delete**.

## Steps

1. For the desired prompt, select **More Options**.
2. Select **Delete**.

## Result

The prompt is permanently deleted from the prompt library.
