# Deactivating schedules

> Deactivate a schedule so it stops running while remaining listed as inactive.

Pause an existing schedule without losing its configuration. The schedule stays in the schedule list, marked as Inactive, until you reactivate it.

## Steps

1. Go to the **Execution** section of your project, and go to **Schedules**.
2. Find the schedule you want to deactivate, then select **More Options** > **Deactivate**.

## Result

The schedule stops running and appears as **Inactive** in the schedule list.
