You can set default user assignments at test set level for statically assigned test cases. The user assignments propagate to all test set executions of the **Manual** and **Pending Execution** types. The user assignments do not propagate to test set executions of the **Automated** type.

* If you set a default user in a test set for statically assigned test cases, the **Assignee** field of an associated execution will be populated automatically with the same user value, for Manual and Pending Execution types. You can manually change the assignee from both a test set or an execution, at any time. You can set only one user per test case in a test set. All licensed users which have the TestSet.Edit permission are eligible for assignment.
* If you set a default user in a test set for statically assigned test cases, the **Assignee** field of an associated execution will not be populated with the user value, for Automated types. You can manually add the assignee of an Automated execution at execution level, at any time.
