What's new

OAuth support for SAP RISE compliance

We are introducing support for OAuth authentication for Heatmap and Change Impact Analysis in Test Manager. As of now, you can use either Basic authentication (username and password) or OAuth authentication (secure token and secure key).

In addition, the overall solution is now RISE-compliant, ensuring adherence to SAP’s strict requirements for SAP add-on development.

For more information, refer to the Heatmap and Change Impact Analysis prerequisites section.

Client field for SAP Basic web service

The Client field is mandatory when configuring the SAP Web Service (Basic) connection. Existing SAP connections will continue to work as before. If you decide to edit an existing SAP connection, you must specify the Client field to configure a valid connection.

Host Machine selection for Test Set execution

When executing tests, you can select the specific host machine on which test sets run. Until now, you could select only specific Orchestrator folders, robots and package versions, as part of test execution. For more information, refer to Configuring test sets for specific execution folders and robots.

Note: Host Machine selection is available in Test Manager, only when delivered through Test Cloud.
Claude 4.5 support

To ensure access to its AI-enabled features, Test Manager supports Claude Sonnet 4.5 in view of the upcoming retirement of the Claude Sonnet 3.7 model. To continue working, update and configure your LLM subscription.
