# Delete certificate

> Delete a certificate based on its ID.

Delete a certificate based on its ID.

## API Endpoint

`DELETE {accessURL}/{organizationName}/identity_/api/SamlCertificate/{partitionGlobalId}/{certificateId}`

Replace `{accessURL}` in all endpoint paths with the base URL for your cloud platform:
