# Creating a Maestro Case project

> Create a Maestro Case project in Studio Web by selecting Maestro Case from the Create New menu, opening the case plan designer canvas.

To create a case project:

1. [Go to Studio Web](https://studio.uipath.com/projects).
2. On the upper-right side of the page, select **Create New**.
3. Select **Maestro Case**. A new project opens with the Maestro Case plan designer canvas displayed.

The Maestro Case plan designer canvas opens with a default **Trigger 1** and **Stage 1** already added.

From the **Explorer** panel on the left, you can manage project files. Select the **Add** button to add a new file or import an existing case plan.
