# Controls Overview

> Every control has four property sections.

Every control has four property sections.

* **General** - Properties to configure the display, value binding etc.
* **Events** - Properties to configure the events of the control.
* **Style** - Properties to configure the look and feel of the controls.
* **VB properties -** Properties you can reference using the VB expression language in the Expression editor.

To add a control, select the Toolbox button, expand the control type (**Input**, **Display**, or **Containers**), then drag and drop the desired control in the app main page.

To configure the controls aesthetics, switch to the Style panel on the right-hand side. See [Layout and Styling](https://docs.uipath.com/studio-web/automation-cloud/latest/user-guide/layout-and-styling) for more info.
