Studio Web for Testing brings cloud-native test creation to UiPath Test Cloud, supporting testing across both Windows and macOS environments. It enables cross-browser web testing and native macOS app testing, all delivered through a fully SaaS-based experience.

As an **App Test Developer**, you can leverage the power of Test Cloud to create and manage tests for both your applications directly in **Studio Web**. These tests are integrated with Test Manager, allowing you to benefit from the full testing lifecycle: from design and debugging to execution and traceability.

**Tests** are a dedicated project type in Studio Web. They are created through a unidirectional integration with Test Manager. Tests can only be initiated and linked from Test Manager, not the other way around.

Within a **Studio Web Tests** project, you can:

* Design test cases using supported activity packages such as Testing.Activities or UIAutomation.Activities.
* Debug your test cases directly in the browser.
* Collaborate with other users on the same Test projects, but not at the same time.
* Publish tests to Orchestrator for execution and test management.

**Considerations**

Before starting, review the following considerations:

* You can only link test cases from Test Manager to Studio Web. Linking from Studio Web to Test Manager is not currently supported.
* Studio Web projects of type Tests can only be created via Test Manager. You cannot create them in Studio Web directly.
* You cannot collaborate with other users on the same Studio Web project of type Tests at the same time.
* There is no bi-directional synchronization between Studio Web and Test Manager.
* The import of Test Automation projects is not supported.
* If you open a Studio Web project in Studio Desktop, you cannot synchronize it back and you cannot open it in Studio Web again.
