UiPath Release Notes

September 2021

2 September 2021

Features

  • Following the Actions tab disablement in Orchestrator and the enablement of Action Catalogs creation directly from the Action Center UI, all existing Orchestrator action links redirect you to the same actions within Action Center.
For example, if you try to access an action using an Orchestrator link https://<Orchestrator_URL>/<Account>/<Tenant>/orchestrator_/tasks/<taskId>, you will be redirected automatically to the corresponding Action Center link https://<Orchestrator_URL>/<Account>/<Tenant>/actions_/tasks/<taskId>.
The transition is now complete. Enjoy the actions functionality from Action Center exclusively .

  • In our quest to summon all actions-related functionality inside Action Center, the Action Catalogs management has been transitioned entirely from Orchestrator to the Actions service. For more details, check out our documentation.

Improvements

  • Searching for users to assign an action to returns all the options (first name, last name, username, or email address) that contain your searching terms.

Bug Fixes

  • We fixed a bug that caused faulty rendering of PDF files in document validation actions.

About feature availability for Community and Enterprise...

With Action Center in Automation Cloud, you don't need to worry about updates and upgrades. We take care to give you the latest features and the most stable version as soon as they are available.

Typical cadence: We release changes in two phases: first we release them to our Community users, then a week later they become available to our Enterprise users as well.

Release date: In these Release Notes, we announce changes as they become available to Community users. So if you are an Enterprise user, expect that you can see the announced changes within a week from the initial release date, unless we explicitly mention otherwise. We do not announce Enterprise availability separately. This plan includes a set number of licenses and you can't request additional licenses. If you need more licenses, you must upgrade to the Enterprise Trial or Enterprise plan.
