Bug Fixes

  • If you connected a 2016.2 Robot to a 2017.1 Orchestrator and ran a process from the Robot tray, the Logs page in Orchestrator did not display the execution logs for that Robot. This also happened when connecting Studio v2016.2 to Orchestrator v2017.1.
  • Executing an automation project from the Robot tray under a locked screen works only if valid Windows credentials are provided in the Credential Store. Otherwise, the session is disconnected.
  • RegUtil.exe now works on machines that have 64-bit Windows installed.

  • The SendHotkey activity can now be used if no target is set.
  • The Extract Structured Data activity now automatically clears invalid XML characters from the extracted text.
  • The Private property of the Open Browser activity is fixed, now working properly and opening Chrome in incognito mode.
  • The Chrome extension no longer crash when used in two parallel user sessions on the same machine.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented you from selecting or identifying certain elements in PDF files, which were opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Keystrokes are now returned by the Get Event Info activity when used with Monitor Events.
  • Scraping an application with no text with the Native technology on a 64-bit machine no longer crashes, working just like it should.
  • Type Into now supports non-ASCII Unicode characters.
  • If using WebEx is your thing, we’ve got some great news - selection support now works while running WebEx!
