# View and edit traces

> Structure of Task Mining trace diagrams, including steps, actions, and editing capabilities.

As a result of the capturing process, a comprehensive diagram illustrating the trace of the procedure is displayed. Each task graph is composed of a number of steps linked between a Start node and an End action.

Each step contains a number of actions made in order to complete the action. The action represents a certain activity, such as a click, documented using a screenshot that underlines the action and the place where this was made.

## Project details

The top navigation bar of the trace diagram displays several project details for the Task Mining project.

The following table describes the metrics.

| **Metric** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| Traces | The total number of traces in the project. |
| Users | The total number of unique recording users that created a trace in the project. |
| Applications | The total number of unique applications or website domains recorded in the project. |
| Avg. execution | The average execution time across traces in the project. (*days hours minutes seconds*) |

## Audio capture

**Audio captures** provide additional context around each step via voice input. This helps you when reviewing the task graph and the collected data.
