### Support for long-running workflows

Integration Service connectors now support long-running workflows through dedicated **Wait for an Event and Resume** activities. Their purpose is to suspend a job at runtime and resume the job whenever a certain event occurs in a third-party application.

Every Integration Service connector that supports events also supports long-running workflow capabilities on the same events.
