Migrating legacy charts to new charts

Introduction

Legacy charts will be deprecated in future versions of UiPath Process Mining. Although you still can create new legacy charts, you are strongly advised to use the new charts instead. Moreover, you should consider converting current legacy charts to new charts.

To convert legacy charts to new charts you can:

• convert individual legacy charts to new charts and add your customizations to these charts, or
• upgrade to the latest version of AppOne and merge your customizations.

Converting a legacy chart to a new chart

In UiPath Process Mining you can convert a legacy chart to a new chart.

Note: Since new charts are only available for Bar charts,History charts, and Distribution charts, you can only convert legacy charts of these types to the new charts.

Follow these steps to convert a legacy chart to a new chart.

Step	Action
1	Go to the Dashboards tab.
2	Right-click on the legacy chart you want to convert to a new chart and select Convert to new chart from the context menu. See illustration below.

Note: The menu option Convert to new chart is only available for legacy charts of type Bar, Line and Distribution.

The Convert to new chart option converts the chart settings of the chart and tries to recreate the original chart as much as possible with the available settings for new charts. Any settings regarding the name, display name, filters, colors, positioning, and layout of the legacy chart will also be applied to the new chart.

However, not all chart settings can be converted. You must check the new chart and configure any remaining settings.

AppOne

When you have a customized version of AppOne to which you have added customized legacy charts, you can upgrade to the latest version of AppOne and merge your customizations.

In the latest of AppOne, all the applicable legacy charts are converted to new charts. If your app is a customized version of AppOne, you can use the new version of AppOne as a basis to convert to the new charts.

If you upgrade to the new version of AppOne, you will lose any customizations you made. To preserve your customizations you need to take some additional steps.
