Editing apps

Introduction

If you have edit permission for an app, you can edit the app settings. For example, you can change the name of the app and/or the description in the General settings page.

Editing a process app from the Published process apps

Follow these steps to edit the process app details from the Published process apps.

  1. Open the Process Mining portal.
  2. Locate the app you want to edit in the Published process apps list.
  3. Select docs image in the on the process app card and select Settings. The General settings page is displayed.
  4. Edit the app details and select Save.

Follow these steps to edit the process app details from the Process apps in development list.

  1. Go to the Development tab and locate the app you want to edit in the Process apps in development list.

  2. Select in the actions column of the process app you want to edit and select Settings. The General settings page is displayed.

  3. Edit the app details and select Save.

Editing a process app from a dashboard in the published process app

Follow these steps to edit the process app details from an open process app.

  1. Select the Settings docs image icon at the top of the dashboard page. The General settings page is displayed.
  2. Edit the app details and select Save.

Editing dashboards

You can edit the dashboards of the open process app to customize the process app to your business needs. You can directly open the Dashboard editor which provides various options to create different views, and to organize, group, and filter data.

Note:

The Edit application button is only available for process apps. Automation apps are read-only.

Follow these steps to open the dashboard editor.

Select the Edit application button in the Settings page.

Select the Settings button at the top of the Dashboard editor page to return to the Settings page of the process app.

Viewing the process app

You can open the process app directly from the Settings page. Follow this step to open the process app.

Select the Open published app option in header of the Settings page.

Managing app permissions

You can open the App permissions page directly from the Settings page to manage access for Process Mining apps. Follow this step to open the App permissions page.

Select the Manage permissions button in the Settings page.
