# Showing or hiding the menu

> When you open a process app, the menu is displayed by default.

When you open a process app, the menu is displayed by default.

Follow this step to hide the menu.

1. Select the **hide**![hide](https://dev-assets.cms.uipath.com/assets/images/process-mining/process-mining-hide-379392-3266f2de-46e5a21f.webp) icon.

The menu is hidden and the icon is changed to the **show**![show](https://dev-assets.cms.uipath.com/assets/images/process-mining/process-mining-show-379396-ea1b586a-5078b9bd.webp) icon.

Follow this step to show the menu.

1. Select the **show** icon.

The menu is expanded.
