# Instance diagram view

> You can check the instance count for each step based on the icon color, as shown in the diagram. The color of the icon represents its status:

## Execution counts

You can check the instance count for each step based on the icon color, as shown in the diagram. The color of the icon represents its status:

* **Green** icons represent completed instances.
* **Blue** icons represent in progress instances.
* **Red** icons represent faulted instances.

## Execution duration

You can check the execution duration for each step. Point to each step to check the amount of time it has taken for all instances of that step to execute. The icon for each step depends on its status (**Completed**, **In Progress**, **Faulted**, and so on). The duration is displayed by average, minimum, maximum, P95, and P99.

## Heatmap

Select the **Hide heatmap** toggle button to check the heatmap on the diagram.

The heatmap view shades elements based on their P50 duration, where blue represents the shortest duration and red represents the longest duration.
