# Data

> The nodes in the Data category of the Add node panel: reshape lists, apply an instruction to each row of a file, and read or write Data Fabric records.

The **Data** category of the **Add node** panel holds the nodes that reshape data from earlier nodes, and the nodes that read and write records in Data Fabric.
