# Resetting credentials for a machine (for Manual pools)

> Steps for resetting administrator credentials for machines in a Manual cloud robot VM pool.

If you forgot the administrator credentials for one of your machines in a **Manual** pool, you can set a new username and password.

1. Go to **Tenant > Machines**.
2. At the right of the pool row, Select **More Actions** and select **Add or manage VMs**.
3. On the **Manage Cloud Robot - VM** page, at the right of the machine row, Select **More Actions** and select **Reset Admin Account**.
4. On the **Reset Admin Account** page, define a new username and password for the administrator account of the machine. The old credentials will no longer work after the reset.
5. Select **Update**.
