Organizational requirements

The commercial pricing solution is intended for organizations that actively review and adjust pricing decisions across products, customers, or campaigns. 

To use this solution effectively: 

• Pricing ownership and decision authority should be clearly defined. 
• Teams should have established processes for reviewing and approving pricing changes. 
• Pricing decisions should be revisited regularly based on demand performance and business objectives.

Data readiness requirements

The commercial pricing solution relies on historical pricing, demand, and cost data. The accuracy and stability of pricing recommendations depend on the volume and quality of historical data available. 

Before onboarding: 

• Historical demand data should be available at the appropriate level (product, customer, or location). 
• Historical price data should reflect past pricing decisions and outcomes and should be available at the customer level. 
• Cost and margin data should be available.
• Product and customer identifiers must be consistent across datasets.
• Pricing guardrails and business constraints should be defined.
