Data residency for Medical Record Summarization, including tenant-region storage across UiPath platform services and AI Trust Layer alignment.

Medical Record Summarization (MRS) stores and processes customer data within the standard UiPath Automation Cloud data residency boundaries.

Where your data resides

MRS data resides in the region where your UiPath tenant is provisioned. The solution does not introduce a separate storage location: source medical records, generated summaries, citations, reviewer decisions, and audit history are stored in the underlying UiPath platform services the solution runs on, within that same region:

• Data Fabric
• Orchestrator Storage Buckets
• Context Grounding

All solution data remains within your tenant's guardrails. The solution does not move customer data outside the tenant boundary.

AI Trust Layer alignment

Summarization requests are routed through the UiPath AI Trust Layer (AITL). MRS follows the same data residency policies and privacy commitments that apply to AITL, and is covered under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Regional availability

Data residency is determined by your Automation Cloud tenant region and is not configured separately for the solution. For the list of supported regions and the data residency policy that applies to the underlying services, refer to the Automation Cloud admin guide.
