## Improvements

### UiPath Document Understanding OCR

* In this release, we have enhanced the accuracy and performance for various text types. This includes text printed on very large or low-resolution images, as well as handwritten text. Recognition for checkboxes, especially those represented by fully blackened squares or rectangles, is significantly improved. Additionally, we have also fine-tuned signature detection.
* We improved the UiPath Document OCR stamp recognition. This includes stamps that have dates and other information in different orientations.
* We improved number parsing to better handle numbers where spaces are used either as decorators or as decimal separators.
* We enhanced date parsing to add support for Malay language dates.

### UiPath Extended Languages OCR

This release brings security updates to address [CVE-2025-55315](https://trust.uipath.com/?tcuUid=9cfc5284-1ee2-4785-9260-468d23c3b92f).

For the Document Understanding OCR for Chinese, Japanese, Korean image, while awaiting a security update from the upstream vendor, we have implemented network-based protections in our product. These protections filter out known attack patterns before they can reach any vulnerable components, ensuring that CVE-2025-55315 is fully mitigated.
