EKS/AKS の Automation Suite をアップグレードする

重要:

Active Directory (AD) を使用していて、v2023.4.0 へのアップグレードを計画している場合は、v2023.4.0、v2023.4.1、v2023.4.2 が AD の問題の影響を受けているため、スキップして v2023.4.3 にアップグレードすることを強くお勧めします。

Automation Suite on AKS/EKS consists of multiple components. Both you as a customer and UiPath share responsibility of these components. For details, see Compatibility matrix.

アップグレードはユーザーの責任です。

• Automation Suite をデプロイする Kubernetes インフラストラクチャ (AKS または EKS)
• Automation Suite の一部として利用することを選択したコンポーネント (例: Gatekeeper、FluentD)

UiPath は以下のアップグレードを担当します。

• UiPath サービス (例: Orchestrator)
• Automation Suite の一部としてデプロイするコンポーネント (例: ArgoCD)

準備

注:

AKS/EKS バージョン 2023.10.0 から 2023.10.7 の Automation Suite のバックアップ ロジックには既知の問題があります。 具体的には、この問題では Insights のダッシュボードのバックアップは対象外です。 ただし、すべての履歴データは正常にバックアップされます。

Insights のダッシュボードをバックアップに含めるには、 こちらで入手できるスクリプトを使用してバックアップ ソリューションを再構成する必要があります。このスクリプトを使用すると、バックアップソリューションを再構成し、バックアップを作成できます。コマンドの実行方法について詳しくは、 こちらのセクションをご覧ください。

アップグレードの準備をするには、次の手順に従います。

1. Check the compatibility matrix to determine the supported versions for each available upgrade scenario. If you brought your own components, make sure the versions of your components are compatabile with the version you plan to upgrade to. For details, see Compatibility matrix.

2. Download versions.json and uipathctl for the version you want to upgrade to, on your management machine. For download instructions, see Downloading the installation packages.

3. 次のように、最新の input.json ファイルを生成します。

   • オプション A:input.json ファイルの最新バージョンを取得するには、次のコマンドを実行します。

     uipathctl manifest get-revision
     

   • オプション B: 過去のすべての input.json ファイルをリストアップし、選択するファイルを決定するには、次のコマンドを実行します。

     uipathctl manifest list-revisions
     

実行

UiPath® のサービスとコンポーネントのアップグレードを実行するには、次の手順を実行します。

1. クラスターが健全であることを確認します。

   uipathctl health check
   

2. クラスターをメンテナンス モードにして、一貫性のあるバックアップを保証します。

   uipathctl cluster maintenance enable
   

   重要:

   この操作によりダウンタイムが発生し、タイム メンテナンス モードが有効化されている間はお使いのビジネス オートメーションが中断されます。

3. クラスターがメンテナンス モードであることを確認するには、以下を実行します。

   uipathctl cluster maintenance is-enabled
   

4. クラスターと SQL データベースをバックアップし、バックアップが正常に完了したことを確認します。

   重要:

   Automation Suite をアップグレードする前に、クラスターと SQL データベースのバックアップを作成することを強くお勧めします。これは、アップグレード操作中に何か問題が発生した場合に、クラスターを確実に復元できるようにするためです。

   以下の要件を同時に満たす場合は、必ず global.userInputs.identity.krb5KeytabSecret の値を global.kerberosAuthConfig.userKeytab にコピーしてください。

   • Active Directory との連携を、ユーザー名とパスワードを使用して構成している
   • Windows 認証を有効化している
   • SQL 統合認証を使用していない

5. メンテナンス モードを無効化する

   uipathctl cluster maintenance disable
   

   注:

   アップグレード前にメンテナンス モードを無効化する必要があります。Automation Suite のアップグレード プロセスでメンテナンス モードを有効化することはできません。

6. UiPath® のサービスとコンポーネントのアップグレードを実行します。

   uipathctl cluster upgrade input.json --versions versions.json
   

   重要:

   この操作によりダウンタイムが発生し、ビジネス オートメーションはアップグレード プロセス中に中断されます。アップグレードはメンテナンス ウィンドウ中にのみ実行することが重要です。

7. アップグレード後にクラスターが正常であることを確認します。

   uipathctl health check
   

Upgrading Kubernetes infrastructure

注:

Automation Suite supports upstream N-1 to N-3 versions of Kubernetes irrespective of the cloud provider. For instance, if upstream is 1.27, we support versions 1.26, 1.25, and 1.24. For supported versions, see the Compatibility matrix.
