# Completed Asynchronous Chat Job

> Completed Asynchronous Chat Job trigger in the Perplexity connector.

## Description

Triggers when an asynchronous chat job finishes. The trigger checks the status of a chat job started by the **Generate Async Chat Completion** activity and fires when the job status changes to `COMPLETED` or `FAILED`. Jobs that Perplexity reports as cancelled or incomplete arrive as `FAILED`.

* **Connection** - The connection established in Integration Service. Access the dropdown menu to choose, add, or manage connections.
* **Chat identifier** - The unique ID of the asynchronous chat job, as returned by **Generate Async Chat Completion**.
