A taxonomy is a collection of all the [labels](https://docs.uipath.com/ixp/automation-cloud/latest/cm-user-guide/labels-predictions-confidence-levels-hierarchy-etc) applied to the messages in a dataset, structured in a hierarchical manner.

Labels are structured in a tree structure, with parent, or root, labels having branch and leaf, or child, labels nested beneath them, as shown in the following image. Each level of the hierarchy represents a subset of the previous level.

Once complete, a taxonomy should contain all the concepts and intents you want to capture in the dataset to suit your specific objectives.

You can view and edit the taxonomy of a dataset in the [Explore](https://docs.uipath.com/ixp/automation-cloud/latest/cm-user-guide/explore-topic) and [Reports](https://docs.uipath.com/ixp/automation-cloud/latest/cm-user-guide/reports) pages.
