# Deleting a pinned model

You must have assigned the **Source - Read** and **Dataset - Read** permissions as an Automation Cloud user, or the **View sources** and **View labels** permissions as a legacy user.

To delete a model version that you have previously pinned, proceed as follows:

1. Select the trash ![docs image](https://dev-assets.cms.uipath.com/assets/images/ixp/ixp-docs-image-323374-9ec49c7c.webp) icon on the model card of the version you would like to delete.
2. In the pop-up window that appears, select **Delete** to confirm your decision.

   Deleting a pinned model is an irreversible action.
